Learn how to record sounds around you and process them with your smartphone.

With just a smartphone, you can record sounds around you, process them, and piece them together into your own soundscape. At the Ravlitt DARR workshop, we will be exploring exactly this.

The workshop will be held in two parts over two days:
〰️ Day 1: Tuesday, Nov 10 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
〰️ Day 2: Saturday, Nov 14 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

On Tuesday, we will meet and look at what to keep in mind when making recordings. We will talk about sound and recording techniques. We will listen to examples and make recordings, listen to them, and see how they can be processed and used.

On Saturday, we will meet again for the second part of the workshop, after the participants have had time to record more and experiment on their own. We will then learn how to process the sounds and piece them together.

The workshop adapts to the participants' skill level. Whether you are completely new and have never tried recording sound before, or if you have tried a little bit on your own and want advice and inspiration, we will figure it out.
